Prue Watt is a four-time Paralympian, winning a Gold Medal at the 2012 London Paralympic Games in the 100 m Breaststroke SB13, as well as Bronze in the 50m Freestyle SB13 event. She has won many national and international events including five silver medals and one bronze at the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games. Watt was a recipient of the Ben Lexcen Sports Scholarship in 2016 and was part of UNSW's elite athlete program, winning Gold while competing for UNSW at the UniSport Nationals in Perth. She Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience in 2017. Prue serves on several boards and is a member of the UNSW Sports Advisory and Council. She is a strong advocate for Para-sport, as well as access and inclusion of people with disability to mainstream sport and equal employment opportunities. She was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in the 2014 ‘for service to sport’.
