Born 30 April 1965, Moya Dodd graduated with an MBA from UNSW in 1996. A lawyer, sports administrator and a former vice-captain of the Australian women’s football team, Dodd played for the Australian national team from 1986–1995, including in FIFA’s first world tournament for women in 1988. Dodd joined the board of Football Federation Australia (FFA) in 2007 and was elected as a vice-president of the Asian Football Confederation in 2009. In 2013 Moya Dodd became the first woman selected to the FIFA Executive Committee in its 108-year history. She has advocated for gender equality in sport, successfully petitioning for more funding to be put towards women's football and for women to be included more in decision making.
