Magistrate Helen Barry, born 29 October 1952, was UNSW’s first woman to graduate in the faculty of law (alongside Michele Blum). She was awarded a Bachelor of Jurisprudence on 20 January 1975 and a Bachelor of Law in April 1976. Helen Barry was appointed as a Magistrate in 2001 and later served as NSW Deputy State Coroner.
