Lee Eng Sim came to Australia from Malaysia to do her High School Certificate at Sydney Girls' High School, then enrolled as a full time electrical engineering student the next year. On 1 May 1969, Lee Eng Sim was the first woman to graduate from UNSW in Electrical Engineering.
