Glenda Korporaal is a distinguished journalist specialising in finance, business and international relations and is the author of several books. She graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Commerce in Industrial Relations and also holds a Master of Arts in Economics from George Washington University. Korporaal is a former London, Washington and New York correspondent of The Australian Financial Review and was the first woman deputy editor of the publication, a position she held from 1986 to1988. She was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in 2019 for her contribution to print journalism and is currently a senior writer and columnist, and former associate editor in the business department at The Australian.
