Dr Patricia Mutton, born 17 March 1944, was among the first people to graduate from UNSW’s new Faculty of Medicine, and the first woman to do so. She was granted a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) in 1965 and Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 1968. While at UNSW Patricia was engaged in music and helped establish the University choir (UNCS) and an informal wind chamber group. After graduating, Dr Mutton specialised in developmental paediatrics and helped set up the Children's Hospital Deafness Centre at Children's Hospital Westmead.
