Dr Danielle McMullen is a General Practitioner and a respected health leader. She is currently the Federal Vice President of the Australian Medical Association (AMA), following her time as President of AMA NSW during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr McMullen is regularly called upon to represent the medical profession and provide strategic advice at high level committees including the Strengthening Medicare Taskforce, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), and the Mental Health Reform Advisory Committee. She is passionate about seeing a more modern, connected healthcare system and is a board member of the Australian Digital Health Agency. 

Dr McMullen graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from UNSW Sydney in 2010, completed her pre-vocational training at St Vincent’s hospital, and went on to complete specialist GP training through the RACGP. Throughout her training she spent time in Wagga Wagga, Nowra, and Katherine in the NT. Dr McMullen has recently moved to QLD and practices a mix of metropolitan and regional general practice, in addition to her non-clinical roles.
